I grew up painting my toenails, not my fingernails. They are short and stubby and I have always had a bad habit of biting my fingernails. But a couple of months ago, my friend Alicia bought a new nail polish and was painting her nails at work! So, I decided to give it a whirl with her. I have been addicted ever since! Turns out, I can still keep my nails short, but they look even better when they are painted. Who knew?!?! These are a few of my favorite colors right now.
Revlon, Hot for Chocolate.
I can't stop painting my nails!! It keeps me from biting them. And when they start to chip, I take off the polish, cut my nails and cuticles, and put on a new color. I love it! And now y'all know what I do with my time when Maddox is sleeping and the chores are done:)

How long does it take for it to start chipping off? I've always had really bad luck with fingernail polish. It always chips off within the first day. That's why I never do my fingernails. (But I always have my toenails painted!)
It kind of depends on how much work I am doing. If I am at work, then it chips that day. But if I am at home, it usually takes three days or so.
don't you love when you pick up a new hobby/obsession like that? it always perks me up!
i've always shied away from fingernail polish (but not toenail polish), too. i just don't feel like i have the fingers for it. :)
Ooh fun! I never paint my fingernails either...maybe I should try it!
