Silly Doctors

Silly Docs. That's what I said to myself yesterday. I had my first appointment on friday, so naturally, I had all of my blood tests done. Like every doctor, they said they would call if something came back abnormal, otherwise they'd see me at my next appointment. Wednesday rolls around and I am at work. My phone rings, I'm busy and don't recognize the number, so I let it go. New voicemail! I listen. It's the doctors office saying they got my results and they need me to call them. So I freak out for a few minutes thinking something is wrong. When I finally get the nerves to call them back, I tell them who I am and that they just left a message. 'Oh, thanks for calling us back. We just wanted to let you know that all of your tests came back NORMAL. Everything is perfect!" What?!?! You made me call you back for that? I thought you only called if something was ABnormal?? "Well, we also wanted to let you know that you are immune to the chicken pox, so we'll see you at your next appointment!" Yay!! I was sooooooooooooooooooo excited. And Scott was so relieved. He's had a hard time being excited for baby because he worries that there will be complications. And good news! I don't ever have to worry about getting the chicken pox:) Thanks for letting me know docs, but that could have waited. Save me the worry session next time. Silly doctors.
