I know some of these are a little past due, but it is difficult to find some time when you have a newborn in the house. But I just wanted to share some of these adorable pictures of little Maddox. First...I made my mom give him his first bath at home, but here are some of his first bath given from his mother:)
Scott worked in Alaska for some time and loved it. He talks it up and makes me want to go. This summer, one of our friends went up there to work and brought back this cute Alaska onesie for Maddox.
And these are from his first walk in the park. One of our buddies works for the city taking care of Nielsons Grove Park. It has gardens, fountains, ponds. Its gorgeous and well taken care of. Maddox loved it. And so did his parents.

How do you like your carseat? Which one did you get again? Not the Chicco, the Graco right?
I love your little baby so much, he is SO stinking cute!!!
ah, i can't wait to see him in person!
anna: graco is where it's at. <-- my humble opinion. :)
What a sweet baby boy! And the labor sounds like quite the ordeal, but its over right? It makes me nervous for mine in a few weeks! I'm glad he is here, safe and healthy! And I'm glad your mom has been there. That always helps a ton! You all look like a happy little family! Congrats!
emily what is this i saw in your comment on anna's blog about a surgery???
I laughed when you said you made your mom give Maddox his first bath because you were afraid to do it (okay so maybe that WAS the previous post, I'm just a little slow)...I was the exact same way with Maddy! And John too, but my mom was too busy with Bryce (he'd just been diagnosed with diabetes) to come help much.
Anyways, he really is adorable, and I love the name Maddox! Also, I have to echo Briana's comment: surgery?????
he's just getting circumcised:) not a major surgery but since he was in the NICU at the hospital, it didn't get done there and we had to wait until he was completely healthy to schedule it. Poor kid:(
They've never offered to circumsize either of my boys at the hospital - even when John was sedated for his surgery at Seattle Childrens! We've had to have the dr do it in his office, and insurance of course wouldnt pay for it.
If you can, I would advise not being in the same room for it...I thought hearing John scream from another room was terrible, but actually watching for Henry was much worse! I'm probably not helping much, huh? Sorry! Just keep thinking that at least he wont remember anything!
Aww...what cute, adorable pictures! Love it! And love the Alaska onesie! Can't wait for you guys to move here! :)
He is so beautiful!! Congrats! Such a cute family!
