This Week...

This week has been hectic, to say the least. And this coming week is hectic. We have both worked the last two Mondays, been sick, Maddox had his 6 month appointment and got sick from his immunizations and so much more. At his appointment, he officially weighed in at 16 lbs 11 oz and measured 26 inches long. He's still a bit on the small side but at least he doesn't outgrow his clothes too fast:) He still isn't completely over his shots yet. He is not eating as much and his naps are off. Maddox has not had his usual three hour nap in a week. It has been difficult on all of us. Without his naps, he is cranky and needs to be held constantly so I can't keep up with the housework and Scott is swamped with his last couple of weeks of schoolwork before finals. I am trying to get our house in order before Maddox and I fly out to South Carolina next week. We're excited to visit the family!! We're heading to Myrtle Beach for a few days, hitting up Medieval Times, the beach, the zoo, and a few other fun things. So, since we have been too busy to really have too much fun...I'll just give you some pictures of my sweet big boy. As of lately, he loves being rocked to sleep, back scratches, cuddling into pillows, scooting around on his tummy, being outside, solids, and eating whatever is on our plate. He loved Olive Gardens breadsticks today. Everytime he swallows real food, he shivers. It is pretty cute.

At the duck pond at Nelsons Grove Park.

At his first movie, we went to a matinee of Red Riding Hood with our friend Natalie. Maddox did really well!

Out for a walk.

He's a mommas boy. I love it:)

Shopping for some baby food on his 6 month birthday.

P.S. Sorry this post is so random.
P.P.S. Maddox is sleeping on the couch next to me. He's snoring. The other night, Scott and I woke up around 2 am because Maddox was snoring so loud...in his OWN bedroom across the hall.
