Sunny Portland Adventures. Day 1

A couple of weeks ago, Scott and I headed out to Portland for my little sisters college graduation. We're getting so old! We were able to see most of my family while we were there. The only ones we were missing were Bobby and his wife and son, and Michelle's husband. We missed them, but it was still so much fun to see the rest of the family! The first day there, we went to the Oregon Zoo. I'll just put up pictures. They are more entertaining:)

Me and Scott at the zoo.

Anna, Mom, Sterling, and Sarah

Me and my daddy!
Payton and the birds.

The girls were sharing!

After a fun day at the zoo, we headed back to Anna's place where we made delicious home made pizzas. I learned a new secret! You can buy the dough that grocery stores use to make french bread for pizza crust. They turned out really good! And we had alot of fun. I love my family:)

Sunday is a great day!

Yay!! When I wake up in the morning, it'll be Sunday. I'm not excited to have to work in the morning, but I am excited that it is Sunday. That means Scott is on his way home! Yay!! I am excited for him to come home from his adventures. I'm excited to hear his stories and see his pictures. I'm excited to hug him and hold his hand. But mostly, I'm just excited to have my husband and best friend home. Twelve days is a long time to have your best buddy away from your side. So, now, I will head to bed so it'll be Sunday. Hope everyone else has as good as a Sunday as I will!

How Does He Do It?

Much to my surprise, the sweet love notes keep coming. I found one with some Baskin Robbins gift certificates on Tuesday, so I headed to get my treat, and lucky for me, it was $1 scoop night!! Yay! So I got two scoops, and only used half of my gift certificates. More sweets for me:)

Then, Scott tells me to keep an eye on the mail. I checked Wednesday, nothing. I checked today(Thursday) before work and still nothing. But the mail had not arrived yet for the day, so I checked on my way home. And what do I find??? The sweetest note of them all that made me bawl like a little baby. And not to mention, he told me to look in our linen closet where he had hidden a box of fine dark chocolates under our pillow cases.

Man, I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
